Randy was unable to join on the 24th, and so Andrew, Jane, and Maggie rang together. They decided to ring a method we have never rung before, Single Court Bob. This is a method that Andrew found and thought it looked interesting. The report that I got was that, after a few false starts with Maggie on the trebles, Jane on 3/4, and Andrew on the tenors, they were able to ring the entire method.

So tonight (31 August), Andrew was unavailable, but Randy could join. And so we rang that method again. Maggie and Jane took their same positions, and Randy rang the tenors.

This is an interesting method because the leads are Plain Hunt leads (no dodging on the lead end), and each bell makes 4th position a few times, resulting in some beautiful music. But that also makes it a little confusing to ring. We also had a few false starts, but were able to ring the entire method at least once. All in all, an enjoyable evening of ringing.
